Max's Story

Max L. Kittle, Sr., 74 of Plainfield, passed away April 12, 2017 in his residence. Born October 2, 1942 in Hazelwood, he was the son of Frank and Viola Price Kittle. He married Georgia Western on November 24, 1962 and she survives. Mr. Kittle was a veteran of the Army National Guard and enjoyed gardening and camping. He worked as a customer service rep. for Gatorade and was a member of their Quarter Century Club, having worked over 40 years. He took the 1st order for Gatorade and shipped the order to the Kansas City Chiefs. Max was a member of the Plainfield Bible Church. Survivors include his wife, Georgia; sons, Timothy (Bonnie) Kittle, Max Kittle, Jr. (Tanya); daughters, Suzann (David) Simmon, April (Keith) Wrage; sister, Peggy McClure; grandchildren, Max III, Sean, Brooke, Jessica, Keith, Abigail, Peter, Hannah, Elizabeth and one great grandchild, Iris. His parents and brother, John Kittle, preceded him in death. Services will be at 1:00 pm on Saturday, April 15, 2017 in the Plainfield Bible Church with burial to follow in Spring Hill Cemetery, Cartersburg.
