Linda (Tyler) Murrain, 73, of Clayton, died Nov. 23, 2016, in her home. Linda was born Dec. 25, 1942, in Vevay to Charles Russell and Ethel Mae (Cole) Tyler. She was a 1961 graduate of Clayton High School. Linda married Donald A. Murrain in 1961, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 25, 2007. She was a homemaker and a loving mother and grandmother. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 28 at the Hazelwood Christian Church with visitation from 3-7 p.m. Nov. 27. Interment of her cremains will take place in the Clayton Cemetery. Survivors include her children, Tammy (Eric) Bridges of Clayton, Stacy (Porter) of Eminence and Tony (Heather) Murrain of Clayton; 6 grandchildren; a brother, Tom Tyler of Spencer; sisters, Margie Sims and Sandy Moon of Carmel and Bonnie Clodfelter of Brownsburg.
Linda was preceded in death by a daughter, Kimberly Ann Murrain, and a granddaughter, Adyson Murrain. Contributions may be given to the Riley Children's Hospital Foundation and/or Cornerstone Pediatric Rehabilitation.
