Judith (Judy) Kay Brannock Faulkner went to be with her Lord and Savior June 6, 2017. She was born November 1, 1938 in Paris, Kentucky to parents William Marvin Brannock and Christine Graham Thomas Brannock. Judy married Ralph David Faulkner on November 18, 1956 in Indianapolis, Indiana. She graduated from Broad Ripple High School in 1956 and was employed as an administrative assistant by L.S. Ayres, Ivy Tech and Rosemount.
Judy made a significant impact on everyone who knew her. Her family and her community were especially dear to her. As a member of Connection Pointe Christian Church, she sang in the choir, faithfully mentored young women, led Bible study, and inspired women experiencing cancer. Judy's favorite times were spent with family, playing games, celebrating milestones, attending youth sports and music performances, and being young at heart with her grandchildren.
Judy is survived by her husband Ralph David Faulkner; daughters Janice Faulkner Bowman (William, deceased) and Pamela Faulkner Norman (Brian); son Ralph David Faulkner II (Bessie); sisters Victoria Elizabeth Jaffie and Margaret Kimberly Barraclough; brother William Marvin Brannock II and eight grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Christine Brannock.
A Celebration of Life was held at Connection Pointe Christian Church. Contributions in memory of Judy may be made to Ovar'coming Together 2625 N. Meridian Street, Ste. #108, Indianapolis, IN 46208.
