Robert's Story

Robert Francis Wolfe, age 89, North Salem, passed away Monday morning at the Hearth of Windemere in Fishers, Indiana. He was born in Tipton County at home on January 8, 1928, the son of Maurice Milton and Izadora (Boyd) Wolfe. He married Alice Washer on March 24, 1951. He was the Greencastle branch president of Federal Land Bank, a farm mortgage company. Robert was a devoted husband and father of six children. He was a member of the Coatesville United Methodist Church. Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Alice Marie (Washer) Wolfe, his parents, Maurice Milton and Izadora (Boyd) Wolfe and his sister, Wanda (Wolfe) Chambless. He is survived by his brother, Walter Wolfe and his sister-in-law Joan Wolfe; children- Curtis (Diane) Wolfe, Marla-Ann (Samuel Scott) Cooprider, Bruce (Angie) Wolfe, James Wolfe, Valerie (Bob) Conner, and Muriel (Chris) Coston; Grandchildren- Eric Wolfe, Jenny (Aaron) Brown, Chris Wolfe, Laura (Wes) Wilson, Michael (Shelby) Cooprider, Kayla Coston, Kelly Coston, Michael Conner, and Caleb (Leah) Murray; Great-grandchildren-Lydia and Alexis "Lexi" Brown.
