Robert Ryan "Bobo" Reach, of Danville, 43, passed from this life into the arms of his Savior May 9, 2017 at IU West Hospital. Ryan was born in Martinsville, IN on April 24, 1974, to Marjorie "Anne" (Butler) and Wendell Reach. Ryan attended Owen Valley High School in Spencer. On October 09, 1993 he married Annette Ferris, and she survives.
Ryan was the proud owner of Gatemasters and More, LLC. He was a 23 year member, Assistant Fire Chief and EMT with the Amo Volunteer Fire Department. Ryan was a lifelong member of the First Christian Church of Mooresville where he helped sponsor the youth group and accompanied them on various mission trips. He also volunteered every summer with Group Mission Trips and was devoted to serving God by serving others. He also was on the Board of Directors for RSA, Ride the Spectrum for Autism. Ryan loved without condition, exemplified compassion and spread kindness wherever he traveled.
Ryan is survived by his wife, Annette (Ferris) Reach, his daughter Courtney Marie Reach, sons Richard R. "Little Ryan" and Robert "John" Reach of Danville, his mother Anne Reach and brother Chris (Elyssa) Reach and niece Harmony Reach of Mooresville, a sister, Barbara Thurman and his birth father, Oliver Gordon Pointer, both of Indianapolis, as well as several nieces and nephews.
Ryan was preceded in death by his father, Wendell Reach Sr., brothers Wendell Reach Jr. and David Stropes and a half-sister Milisa Pointer.
Funeral services will be Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Hazelwood Christian Church, 9947 S. County Rd 0 Clayton, IN, 46118. Calling will be at the church on Monday from 4:00 until 8:00 pm. Burial will be in Amo Cemetery. Arrangements are being handled by Bousley Funeral Home, Coatsville.
