Philip Warren Jones, 63, Brownsburg, passed away early Thursday morning, Sept. 14, 2017. He was born Aug. 15, 1953, in London, KY, to the late Claude and Mable Jones. He attended Brownsburg schools for most of his education before graduating from Ben Davis High School in 1971. After graduating he moved to Orlando, FL where he worked with a construction group that was contracted to build DisneyWorld. He later returned to Indiana and worked at Coca Cola and International Harvester. During this time he volunteered as a bus driver for Abundant Life Memorial Church. He loved spending time with family, listening to his records, and watching the Colts play. Survivors include sister, Lisa Horlacher (Kent) of Thorntown; nieces Sara Horlacher of Thorntown, Kelsey Horlacher of Knoxville, TN; nephew Jason Jones (Deanne); great nephew and niece Nathan Jones and Natalie Jones of Lebanon. In addition to his parents, Philip was preceded in death by his brothers Claude E. Jones and Charles C. Jones. Visitation will be from 11am-1pm, Tues., Sept. 19, 2017 at Matthews Mortuary, Brownsburg with funeral service at 1 pm. Burial will be in Brownsburg Cemetery.
