Joe Richard Wyeth, 86, of North Salem, IN, passed away Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at Hendricks Regional Health.
He was born August 17, 1931 in Boone County, IN, son of the late Ervin Lee and Ruby Opal (Ashley) Wyeth. He was a member of North Salem United Methodist Church. Joe served his country in the US Army where he was stationed in Germany during the Korean War. He was a third generation Hendricks County grain and livestock farmer. His family farm will celebrate its 100 year anniversary in 2019.
Joe is survived by his wife of 60 years, Judy (Selch) Wyeth, sons, Dick Wyeth and Dave (Lisa) Wyeth, grandchildren, Rich (Karissa) Wyeth and Victoria Wyeth and great-grandson, Weston Joe Wyeth. He was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Glenn Wyeth.
Family and friends will gather Saturday, November 4, 2017, 4:00-8:00 p.m. at the North Salem United Methodist Church. Services will be held November 5, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the family farm at 5503 W. CR 500 N, North Salem, IN 46165, with Pastor Greg Way officiating. Joe will be laid to rest in the Fairview Cemetery, North Salem, IN.
