Harold's Story

Harold Aaron Davis, 79, of Brownsburg, March 10. He was born in Indianapolis to the late Rev. Harold A. and Katherine L. Davis. He worked with sheet metal at local #41 for more than 25 years and taught the trade of sheet metal at Arsenal Technical High School. He retired in 2005 at Rolls Royce where he worked as a Tin Smith over 25 years.
Harold was a ham radio enthusiast and provided services for overseas ministries, Salvation Army, and Hendricks County Amateur Radio (HCARS). Harold was a lifetime member of Westside Church of the Nazarene. He loved spending quality time fishing and traveling with family.
Harold is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, JoAnn Davis; children, Karen Craig (John), Kathy Barnes (David), Marilyn Davis (Lorrie), and Keith Davis (Cara); 7 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 1 expecting great grandchild; sister, Miriam Gregory.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Hendricks County Amateur Radio Society.
Visitation and Funeral Service was held March 13 and 14 at Westside Church of the Nazarene, 8610 W. 10th St., Indianapolis. Burial followed in Washington Park North Cemetery.
