David Keith Russell, 73, of Pittsboro, Indiana, passed away Monday, September 11, 2017, at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis. He was born in Clinton County, Indiana, on January 31, 1944, the son of the late Gordon B. and Nettie (McCoy) Russell.
On July 10, 1965, he was married to Nancy (Ferguson) Russell in the New Brunswick Church of Christ in Lebanon; she survives.
David was a 1962 graduate of Pinnell High School and attended Indiana State University following high school.
He had worked for the Ford Motor Company in Indianapolis as a tool maker for over 39 years.
He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. David enjoyed woodworking and racing. He was an active member of the New Brunswick Church of Christ in Lebanon, having served as elder and deacon.
Survivors include his wife, Nancy Russell; children, Todd (Dawn) Russell of Pittsboro and Christie (Victor) Harper of Greenwood; six grandchildren, Brian Harper, Brett Harper, Brad Harper, Brock Harper, Katie Russell, and Jake Russell; three brothers, Jim (Carolyn) Russell of Sulphur Springs, TX, Tom (Jane) Russell of Fillmore, and Fred (Cathy) Russell of Madison; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services are planned for Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 12:00 noon at New Brunswick Church of Christ, 6480 State Road 39, Lebanon, Indiana. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at noon on Saturday at the church. Interment will follow services at Lincoln Memory Gardens in Whitestown, Indiana. Myers Mortuary of Lebanon has been entrusted with his care.
